David Jezierski, the business owner, worked for the Ethan Allen furniture company for over 20 years. By offering
upholstery services, David is able to practice his hard-earned talent and provide Dumas Decorating customers with
well-structured, detailed upholstery and frame reinforcement for modern and antique pieces.
- Dumas Decorating Center was established in the 1950s as a paint and wallpaper provider.
Beginning as a renovated 3-bay garage, the store was expanded to include three additional
showrooms, a loading dock, and additional work and storage space.
- After the store remained in service by the Dumas family for at least 50 years, the Jezierski family
took over operations in January of 2005. Since the change of ownership, Dumas Decorating now
includes an attractive line of fabrics, accompanied by experienced upholstery services.

- David's wife, Betty, offers customers a helping hand and warm smile as she aids them in their quest
to choose from our wide range of quality products. Betty's assistance extends from helping
customers choose a new floor covering and organizing its installation, to mixing the right Benjamin
Moore color, adding a decorative touch to their home.
